Function:
The Process Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment at the job site and the Company's shop. The Process Technician promotes the Company's business by conducting work assignments in a professional and safe manner.
Relationship:
Reports to the Unit Supervisor or the shift supervisor at the job site or other personnel given supervisory responsibility as designated by the Operations Manager.
Typical Physical Demands:
The job requires prolonged, and continuous standing, working in a strained position, and heavy lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly through the shift. Shifts are normally 12 hours and frequently require seven day weeks until job completion.
Typical Working Conditions:
Typical working conditions are outside in plants usually in the gas processing industry, exposed to all weather conditions and potential hazards associated with the customer's plant operations. Job will require extensive travel and possible extended periods away from the home base.
Minimum Requirements:
- Maintains a telephone at place of residence and is available for work on a call out basis. If away from place of residence, must maintain regular contact with the office.
- Is willing and able to work rotating schedules, irregular hours, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as business may require.
- Reports to work on time. If unable to report on time, notifies his supervisor in advance of the scheduled time.
- Is familiar with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the Company and complies with these at all times.
- Is physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Holds a valid driver's license. Has no more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the most recent 36 month period. Has no DWI or DUI within the previous 60 months or more than one DWI or DUI ever as verified by a current MVR or Driver's abstract.
- Must pass a drug test and comply with all aspects of the Company's Drug and Alcohol policies.
- Must have high school diploma or GED minimum.
Process Technician

- Operates all MPR equipment.
- Maintains all equipment.
- Loads truck in preparation for job.
- Unloads truck when returns from job site.
- Observes all laws and regulations when operating vehicle for company business.
- Must ensure all safety supplies, equipment, and personal safety gear is loaded and properly used during job.
- Keeps job site clean and orderly at all times.
- Attends & participates in all job safety meetings and monthly safety meetings.
- Ensures all equipment, hoses, fittings, and accessories are inventoried and stored in clean and proper condition.
- Communicates all maintenance needs to Operations.
- Exhibits constant willingness to assist with any function, task, or operation any time, day or night.
- Obeys all safety rules and ensures others do also.
- Conduct is professional with emphasis on obtaining customer satisfaction.
