MPR successfully cleaned 35,000 gallons of MDEA at a Northern U.S. gas plant.
July, 2009

This gas plant called MPR when they were unable to meet spec for gas being treated. Lean loading was very high and caused by over neutralization. Bicine was over 3500 ppm. MPR mobilized to the site and within 24 hours, began to lower lean loading as sodium was removed. The plant’s gas treating ability improved to maximum levels before the job was complete. Sodium was reduced from 6444 to 162 ppm, HSS were reduced to <0.5 wt% as bicine was reduced to < 250 ppm.
